My job search is bearing fruit and I have two offers. Should have a job lined up by tomorrow. Now to worry about the garage (house) search. Jobs are in the automotive field so I will get to work in an area I care about. Excited to get going, and my Camaro is going to like the coils and C5 brakes I plan to get this year now.
The post I had awhile ago about a garage/2 cars and finding a place is in full effect now. Quite hard to get a garage with an apartment where I am looking. Many have shared garages but that doesn’t work for tools & working on the car.

Congrats! Hope you can find the garage of your dreams. Literally the only thing I like about owning a house is having my own garage. If I could find an apartment with a private space for a shop and storage for 2-3 cars, I’d much rather do that.

Hey congrats! I have a call at 9am tomorrow to review an offer on a new job for myself too. Also in automotive. And after searching for 6 months since being laid off from Mercedes-Benz Canada it’s about time!

Nice. Garages are such a nice thing when you have an apt.
That UMI Camaro is totally lacking in the swaybar dept.
I had the guy at Unbalanced Engineering do my Bilsteins that were valved and dyno’d for 1000/250s and LG modify the upper mount for the rod ends. I think I got my rear weight jackers from UE as well. I’d do the Penskes if I had to do it over again. The threaded rear body makes the rear sprins a lot easier to deal with. Plus the lighter/smaller diameter springs.

I have a few months to figure it out, I’m guessing Penskes will be too expensive for my purposes but I’ll look into them. Didn’t know they are an option.

I am looking for an apartment with just a 1 car garage I can afford and not having much luck. Houses and sometimes condos are looking like a more likely option.

Could always just do Penskes in the rear and Bilsteins up front to save $$$. I’m not sure what Strano offers anymore, which is another place to look. The rear weight jacker set up was a PITA to deal with at deals. Threaded rear body is the way to go IMO.
My setup was:
Unbalanced Engineering Bilstein (rod ends f/r) and 1000/250lb Hyperco’s
Strano 35mm hollow front bar
Hellwig 22mm adj (21,22,23) hollow rear bar
Fays2 Watts link
LG torque arm
1LE rear lower control arms
Torsen T2R

Congrats! Exciting times abound!
I just whored out my Camaro a minute ago and low and behold there’s Camaro content a few posts below.
I just finished stripping and painting the frame rails and floor, installing a new rear suspension, putting the interior back together and throwing it on the wheels from my brother’s project.

Which part? It rode really well for the rate. Stiff, but never harsh. Good vavling does that.

All of it, my Camaro didn’t get nearly as much love. Maybe the next one will.

Sad Camaro is sad. Next time, do it up right. ;) Going to get another 4th Gen soon myself.
Have a happy slaloming Camaro.
Up to (stressing the up to) 1.07 sustained and 1.21g’s in the slalom on 285/40R17 Ecsta XS’s per the data logger. Usually in the 1.05/1.17 range though.
